We often associate robins with out loved ones.

For these memorial robins, a line of opaque red glass alongside your loved ones ashes, which is then picked up on a gather of molten glass. I then twist the glass to form the spiral in the center of the piece, which forms the breast of the robin.

I then take another gather of glass to encapsulate the ashes. A layer iris gold glass powder is then added to the ourside of the piece.

Once the glass has been shaped the glass to represent the robin, it is then exposed to higher levels off gas, which allows the iris gold colour to undergo a chemical change creating the metallic gold body.

Approximately 6cm x 8cm.

Between 4-6 weeks. Jewellery may take longer due to collaborating with a jeweller.

Yes, no problem at all. The ashes will need to be sent in two separate bags.
